We offer the possibility to print cover and inside pages with different paper types and weights. You can decide to print cover and inside on the same paper and grammage. However, the cover is frequently printed on a higher grammage and is laminated. Adding lamination to coated papers is recommended to protect the print from scratches and liquids. Furthermore, lamination adds a touch of elegance to your publication, enhancing colours and providing a polished effect. |

FAQ |
The binding with two metal staples allows your publication to be opened flat and easily flick through. However, if you’re looking to print notebooks or similar that need to be perfectly laid flat on the table (without the need to hold the pages down or use a book weigh) we rather recommend wire-o binding.
We rely on different printing methods (digital or offset) and therefore different printing machines depending on the quantity, the chosen paper type and many other variables. Nonetheless, we guarantee both methods allow high print quality.
Our stapled bindings have saddle stitching. It is not possible to customise the color (metal), size or position of staples. They are automatically placed centrally at a variable distance depending on the format chosen.
As the binding is always done on the left side, if you want the staples to be placed on the upper side you need to select the layout depending on the reading orientation you want to obtain (portrait if the staples need to be placed on the longer side, landscape if on the shorter) and to rotate your file accordingly (- 90°).
It is normal that pages do not adhere completely along the folded edge when ordering stapled binding with few pages and high grammage papers. To avoid it, consider ordering a wire-o binding that lays perfectly flat.
At the moment, the Designer tool to create the layout from scratch is not available for this product. However, on the product page, we provide instructions and template to create a print ready file on your own (with a design software). Thanks to the new preview service, you'll still be able to make some minor adjustments to your file before printing. If you need any help editing or creating your booklet, have a look at our Design Services. Please note that for this product, the design service needs to be purchased on the product page directly and the service quote will automatically be displayed once you have filled in the product features. |
