Material Plexiglass is a shatter-proof polymethyl methacrylate panel suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, available both clear and opal in two different thicknesses of 3 and 5 mm. Choose clear plexiglass as an alternative to glass both for style and toughness: printing is done mirrored on the back of the clear plexiglass, ensuring the design is visible from the front and protected by the material. You may also add the white printing option: go with solid white to ensure non-faded colours in the whole printing surface, or selective white to highlight specific details or print white ink. |

If you’re looking to make your designs stand out, opal plexiglass is the way to go: its diffused surface not only brings out rich prints but also works wonderfully with backlighting. Use it for backlit signage or illuminated logos in retail and commercial spaces for a professional touch. |

| FAQ |
For clear plexiglass, printing is done on the reverse side (the back surface): this method protects the print behind the material, giving it a glossy, durable finish when viewed from the front. The front side remains unprinted and smooth, enhancing the visual effect through the transparency of the plexiglass. For opal plexiglass, printing is instead done on the front side: this is because the material is not fully transparent, so printing on the front ensures maximum colour visibility.
For a solid, pure white result, we recommend choosing clear plexiglass combined with a solid white print. Opal plexiglass is designed specifically for backlit applications, therefore, without backlighting, it won’t appear pure white and may look slightly greyish.
You can easily hang it on a wall or another plain surface using the accessories we provide on the website: choose the option that best suits your needs from the ones described above. Please note that accessories can only be requested together with the panel and not separately.
By checking the information under the “i” icon (after selecting the material you want to print), you’ll find out the maximum size for a single panel. Larger artworks will be mandatorily divided into multiple equal-sized panels, to be hung side by side, without any overlapping. Designer and template provided can give you a general idea of how the division may work: please consider it as a rough guideline; due to production needs the division in panels may be different. As for the file, no need to worry: our team will automatically take care of the splitting during production. Therefore, we kindly ask you to send us a single complete design, without dividing it into multiple files.
Yes, plexiglass can be used outdoors as it is weather resistant. In case you choose the opal plexiglass, we always recommend adding varnish to the panel to give it extra protection and make the print last longer.
No, the edges remain unprinted and retain the original plexiglass finish.
No, plexiglass is printable only on one side. If you’re looking for a material that can be printed on both sides and withstand outdoor conditions, we recommend white aluminium.
Yes, you can write on the panel, even if varnished, with a permanent marker. Even if you’re using a dry-erase marker, we can’t guarantee that, when removing the drawing, the printed surface won’t be damaged: we therefore don’t recommend using the panel as a dry-erase board.
At the moment, we only provide a single external cut. Also, you can have a customised cut shape.
Use a soft cloth with water or a non-abrasive neutral detergent. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, which can damage the clear surface.
Panels are packed in thick corrugated cardboard with robust protective corners. If you order more than one panel, they may be packed all together or separately. It is not possible to ask for a customised packaging: We always provide the best and safest solution.
