The weight is meant per square meter; use it as an indicator of the paper thickness and strength. As tags are mainly used for labelling and therefore need to be resistant, you will only find high grammages available, starting from 250 gsm on.
Most of our papers are FSC™ certified: look for the FSC™ logo on each product page to identify the certification! If you want us to add the FSC™ logo to your graphics, please read this article.
All uncoated papers are rewritable. We highly suggest choosing smooth and white paper, as Extraprint to write with a pen or pencil. In case you choose coated paper or add a lamination to your tags, we only recommend writing on them with a permanent marker, otherwise, you could face ink smearing.
At the moment, we don’t provide multigraphics or incremental printing options for any of our tags (e.g. incremental bar codes, serial numbers, products with the same front but different backs, playing cards, etc). Each job needs one design, so you’ll need to create an order with different items (up to 15): we suggest filling in the field “item name” to distinguish each item and avoid errors during the file upload.
The external shape of your product as you want through custom tagsand even add a single internal hole (with the shape and size you prefer within the limits indicated in the instructions) for a strip, ribbon or lanyard. Please note: only one external cut and one internal hole are allowed per tag and multiple cutouts or holes are not supported. Read more information here about how to create the cut to shape file.
Choose custom tags and the “custom format” option if you’re looking to customise your tag’s hole position and outer format. Please note that the hole should have a minimum diameter of 4 mm and be positioned at least 3 mm from the edge. For double-sided tags, you’ll need to create the cut line (according to the cutcontour instructions) on the first page of the PDF only. If you don’t customise the shape and position of the hole in your file, it will be automatically placed where you indicated in the quote, with a diameter of 4 mm and a distance of 3 mm from the cutting line.
Sure, find here all of our standard folded tags with a hole. In case you’re looking for a bigger format, you may have a look at folded cards: just remember in this case you’ll have to create the hole yourself.
We provide instructions and template to create a print ready file on your own (with a design software) on the product page or you can take advantage of our free Designer to easily create your graphic online.
