	Material Our aluminium is a 3 mm multi-layer panel with a black polyethylene core and a printable white or brushed surface depending on your choice. This rigid and weatherproof material is suitable both for indoor and outdoor use. Choose white aluminium when looking for the colours to appear vibrant and take advantage of the double-sided printing (up to 140 x 140 cm) for your signage, advertising or even custom photo prints.
	Looking for a modern, industrial edge with a refined feel? Brushed aluminium is the way to go! Its unique texture adds depth to your design, giving it a bold, eye-catching finish!   Plus, with white printing, you can create a striking contrast against the metallic background, making certain parts of your design pop. Make your logo, image or text really stand out, even from a distance!
	Formats From the smallest plaque to the biggest panel, we’re able to offer you aluminium printing in various customised sizes: from 14 x 14 cm we can cover your walls up to whatever dimensions you need! Just consider that each material has its own maximum printable size per panel: larger designs will be divided into multiple panels to hang one close to the other, with no overlapping. Be sure to double check the information available under the “i” icon of the material chosen to check whether your order will be divided or not: white aluminium can be printed in one panel up to 190 x 290 cm, while brushed aluminium up to 145 x 290 cm. It’s true, there’s no limit to your customisation with Pixartprinting as a partner, but if you’re wondering which sizes are the most commonly used, we also offer you various standard formats to choose from!
	Want to go with an extra customisation of your sign? Choose the custom shape option to give it your own unique format! Create a directional sign in the shape of an arrow, design a panel that follows the edge of your product to catch attention, or get creative with any shape! Please note that we can only handle an external personalised cut following the path you provide in the file you send us, but we cannot handle internal or multiple cuts.
	Accessories & varnish If you’re wondering how to mount your aluminium panel, depending on the format and cut chosen, we offer several solutions for hanging it on a wall or other flat surfaces: Holes: 9 mm diameter holes along the perimeter to easily fix your panel (screws not included). When ordering, specify how many hangers you need and where to place them: starting from the corners, they’ll be placed at equal distances from each other
	Double-sided adhesive hanging kit: one piece to be attached to the back of the printing, and the other to the wall, allowing for easy and quick panel interchange on the same surface. We also provide screws, and wall plugs for an extra strength, to be used on uneven surfaces if the panel doesn’t adhere perfectly to the wall. Elements are provided for all 4 corners. Distance from the wall: 5 mm. Please use a drill cutter to avoid damaging the material
	Self-adhesive spacer kit: 4 elements made of clear polycarbonate triangular plates to be attached to the back of the panel and silver nickel spacers. This kit, designed for easy fixation, includes removable side pieces to ensure the correct distance from the edge of the panel. Use double-sided tape to mark drill holes on the wall, then screw the nickel spacers in place. Finally, press gently to secure the panel to the wall. Distance from the wall: 20 mm
	Repositionable sticker kit: 4 removable and repositionable double-sided stickers that avoid having to drill into your walls. Sticker thickness: 3.5 mm. Individual sticker dimensions: 2.5 x 2.5 cm
	Classic spacer kit: 4 silver-coloured aluminium spacers with a self-locking screw cup (outer diameter 13 mm, total length 23 mm), ideal for attaching plaques, signs, boards etc. to walls. The pre-drilled panel will be at a 19 mm distance from the wall
	Adjustable hanging kit: an invisible kit made of triangular plates, to be attached to the back of the panel with double-sided tape, along with screws and plugs to hang it on the wall. Once you’ve fixed the plates to the panel, insert the screw into the wall, hang the panel, and adjust the angle (up to 45°) to ensure it’s straight. Elements are provided for 2 corners. Distance from the wall: 15 mm Please note that some accessories may not be available for certain material and dimension combinations: the website only displays the options available according to your quote.
	If, instead of hanging the aluminium, you need to have it self-standing, we provide panel stands in two different formats: 20 x 39 cm (covering a 20 x 6 cm area of artwork on the panel) 50 x 39 cm (covering a 50 x 6 cm area of artwork on the panel) We recommend avoiding placing important texts or graphics in the area covered by the panel stand. Both the stands are 17 cm high (raise the panel 11 cm off the floor) and can host panels between 5 and 28 mm thick thanks to their adjustable system. For the small model the recommended maximum size is 90 x 150 cm, while the large model can be used for panels up to 260 x 130 cm. Please note that very high panels tend to flex if only supported from below.
	You can also consider a panel with support, with a sturdy metal base that can be screwed to the lower part of the panel. With a sleek and essential look, this metal support with a 30 cm base provides stability to your aluminium print (available only for 3 mm white aluminium, both in standard and customised sizes, from 40 x 40 cm to 290 x 190 cm). Depending on your selection, one or more supports are offered, as many as necessary to best support your panel. You can also order the only print option, in case you have previously purchased the panel with structure and just want to change the graphics: please note that the panel will come pre-drilled at the base to accommodate the same number of metal supports. Choose whether to print front only or front and back (maximum 140 x 140 cm). Ideal for exhibitions, displays, point of sale and communications of all kinds, choose afree-standing product that is both versatile and practical. And for a stunning shine, add our glossy varnish to your panel. Not only will it enhance your design, but it will also protect the print from scratches. If you’re using the aluminium board outdoors, we highly recommend the varnish for added durability and protection.

FAQ

• How can I hang an aluminium panel? 

You can easily hang it on a wall or another plain surface using the accessories we provide on the website: choose the option that best suits your needs from the ones described above. 

• How to discover if my order will be divided into panels?  

For shipping reasons, panels can't exceed a maximum size of 150 x 290 cm. In the case of brushed aluminium, the maximum size for a single panel is 145 x 290 cm. Any design larger than this will therefore be divided into multiple panels of the same size, with no overlaps between them.

As for the file, no need to worry: our team will automatically take care of the splitting during production. Therefore, we kindly ask you to send us a single complete design, without dividing it into multiple files.

• Is aluminium suitable for outdoor use? 

Yes, aluminium can be used outdoors as it is weather resistant. We always recommend adding varnish to the panel to give it extra protection and make the print last longer. 

• Are the side edges of the panel printed? 

No, the edges are not printable and appear black, matching the polyethylene core of the aluminium panel. 

• Can I use the aluminium panels on both sides? 

If you need your panel to have a white base on both sides, be sure to choose the white aluminium and select the double-sided printing option.  

Panels intended for single-sided printing, on the other hand, are specifically designed for front-side use only, as the back may feature a protective film, identification labels, or even codes printed directly by the manufacturer of the raw material. These are simply part of how the material comes from the supplier, and not something we print ourselves. 

• Is it possible to write on the panel? 

Yes, you can write on the panel, even if varnished, using a permanent marker. Even if you’re using a dry-erase marker, we can’t guarantee that, when removing the drawing, the printed surface won’t be damaged: we therefore don’t recommend using the panel as a dry-erase board. 

• Can I have one or more internal cuts? 

At the moment, we only provide a single external cut. Also, you can have a customised cut shape.  

• How do you pack panels? 

Panels are packed in thick corrugated cardboard with robust protective corners. If you order more than one panel, they may be packed all together or separately. It is not possible to ask for a customised packaging: We always provide the best and safest solution. 

• How can I create my panel design? 

Use Designer to create your standard shape panel and get inspired by thousands of free models or ask our help through Design Services. If you’re creating your file with a design software, please download the instruction document and the template provided once you enter the quote.
