If you have ordered a banner or flag with accessories (eyelets, cords, or tensioners) or with specific finishes (perimeter reinforcement or sleeves), it is very important to place all relevant text and graphics only within the safe area. This ensures they are not cut off or positioned too close to the edges, thus avoiding undesirable aesthetic results.
SAFE AREA: Where can I find it?
If you have downloaded our template, you will find various colored lines inside it to help you correctly position your artwork. Among these lines, there is a solid red line called the safe area. The other lines indicate the positions of the accessories, reinforcements, or perimeter sleeves, as well as the cutting line and the bleed boundary.
If you used the Online Designer, the line that defines the Safe Area will be green
SAFE AREA: What is it for?
During the cutting phase of the printed product, deviations of 1–2 mm are common. Therefore, it is important to place texts and graphics within the Safe Area to ensure they are not cut off or positioned too close to the edge, avoiding undesirable aesthetic results.
Please pay special attention to placing important texts and graphics inside the Safe Area, especially if your product includes accessories or additional treatments: these require extra material that will be folded and therefore not visible.
