Thanks to our design upload and preview service, when you upload your file, we automatically generate a full preview of your artwork: in this way you can double-check the final result before printing and make little edits directly online.
Immediate checks after the upload
As soon as you upload your file, we automatically run a series of technical checks and warn you in case:
The file is in an unsupported format, corrupted or password-protected and needs to be replaced
Fonts are not embedded, meaning the text cannot be printed correctly: if this occurs, the system will notify you that it was not possible to generate a preview of your file. Please upload a new file by embedding the fonts
The file contains outdated fonts, such as Type 3 fonts, meaning the text cannot be printed correctly. The system will notify you that it was not possible to generate a preview of your file. Please upload a new file by replacing them with supported fonts. For more information read this article.
If your file passes these checks, we generate a full preview and apply automatic corrections for small issues that could affect the print result: for example, if you forgot to add the bleed or to rotate your image, we'll take care of it. Also, files that are larger or smaller than the required format are resized automatically.
Preview notifications and automatic changes
Once the preview is generated, the system will also notify you if there are blank pages or any inconsistencies in the number of pages compared to what was originally quoted. Read the alert messages carefully:
Red indicates a blocking issue with your file. For example:
Yellow indicates that we want you to make sure the design is meant to be printed like that. For example:
Any automatic changes applied to your file will be clearly indicated with a special message: please read it carefully by clicking on the "Details" arrow and double-check your file before confirming the print, as these modifications won't be saved on the original file on your device.
Review features in the preview tool
The preview tool also helps you reviewing your design through these features:
Content check: use the magnifying glass icon on the right of your design to zoom in
3D Preview: click "Preview" (bottom right) to explore a 3D representation of the product. Depending on the product, you'll be able to rotate it, open/close it and check details like folds and layout accuracy
Guidelines: enable the guidelines (top left) to ensure important elements stay within the safe area (green line), make sure the background extends beyond the trim line (dashed yellow line) to fill the entire visible area, check folds (dashed violet line) and panelization (dashed light blue line) where applicable
Page count check: helps you confirm all pages requested in the quote are uploaded
Online adjustments
In addition to these review features, you can make minor adjustments directly online, including:
Add blank or import individual pages from other another file (PDF or JPG)
Remove extra pages
Swap sides
Replace the design with a new one (PDF or JPG)

Please note that we offer this service for most of our products. It's not available for items with custom shapes, special finishes, white printing, invisible ink, multi-artwork, kiss-cut, custom models, and other products with complex configurations. When available, you can take the chance to use the file preview service through your Upload area; otherwise, you'll need to upload your file directly, matching all specifications required by the product instructions.
